How To Add Your Gift Card To Apple Pay
Compatible with iPhones, Apple Watch, as well as MacBook Air and MacBook Pro with touch or face IDs.
1Activate Your Card
- Open the True Rewards app and select "Activate a Gift Card".
- Enter your mobile number and activation code.
- Enter the 4-digit code sent via SMS and click 'Login'.
2Add Card To Your Wallet
- Tap on the "Add to Apple Wallet" button underneath your card.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- Tap "Next" on the "Card Verification" screen to verify your card.
3Card Ready For Apple Pay
Your card should now be added to your Apple Wallet. Tap on the 'Pay with Apple' button to see the card in your wallet and start spending.

Apple Pay FAQs
Activating a True Rewards Visa Gift Card can only occur after you've downloaded the True Rewards app.
Once you've downloaded the app, click on the gift URL that you received via SMS or open your app and follow the below steps:
- Open the True Rewards app and select "Activate a gift card".
- Enter your mobile number and activation code.
- Enter the 4-digit code sent via SMS and click 'Login'.
In order to start using the card, you need to add the card to your Apple Wallet:
- Tap on the "Add to Apple Wallet" button underneath your card.
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- Tap "Next" on the "Card Verification" screen to verify your card.
You can use Apple Pay to make payments at any merchant where contactless payments are accepted. Simply look for the contactless symbol. You may also use Apple Pay in-app and on the web with Safari when you see the “Buy with Apple Pay” button or Apple Pay as a payment option.

Security and privacy are at the core of Apple Pay. Apple uses security features built-in to the hardware and software of your device to help protect your transactions. Apple doesn’t store or have access to your full card details, and these are never stored on your device or shared with merchants when you use Apple Pay. Merchants are only provided with your Device Account Number.
Each transaction is authorised by your Face ID, Touch ID or the device passcode and a confirmation is displayed in the Wallet. This shows the merchant name, where and when the transaction occurred and the amount of the payment or refund.

Adding your card to Apple Pay on iPhone is simple. Here’s how to get started.
- Once the card has been activated in the True Rewards app, tap on the "Add to Apple Pay" button (right underneath your card).
- Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- Tap "Next" on the "Card Verification" screen to verify your card.
- Once complete, tap on Take me to my Apple Wallet to see the card in the Wallet and start spending.
Apple Pay works with iPhone 6 and later in stores, apps, and websites in Safari; with Apple Watch in stores and apps (requires iPhone 6 or later); with iPad Pro, iPad (5th generation), iPad Air 2, and iPad mini 3 and later in apps and websites in Safari; and with Mac (2012 or later) in Safari with an Apple Pay-enabled iPhone or Apple Watch. Currently, only the True Rewards Visa card available on Apple Pay.
If your device has been lost or stolen, you can prevent unauthorised payments being made with your card on Apple Pay by:
- Remotely locking your iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch using the Find My app service to mark as lost. The ability to make payments on the device is suspended when it is put in Lost Mode.
- ermanently erasing all the data on your iPhone or iPad using the Find My app service. All your card information will be deleted from the device.
- Placing a temporary block on your physical card via True Rewards Customer Service.
- Contacting True Rewards support to report your physical card lost or stolen.
